Hi I'm Jon

I'm a college student, I'm a granny smith apple and live theater enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the miracles I see in my life are all because of my faith. I also know and appreciate the humility that my trials and difficulties give me. My faith helps me to love, above all else.

How I live my faith

I always try (unfortunately don't always succeed) my very hardest to do the right thing. I commit myself to improve when I fail.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

I would certainly hope not. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is typically very quick to come to the aide of all people affected by natural disasters, regardless of their faith. Show more Show less

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

There are not. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell to you there is a God?

Nature, the human body, the universe and all its vast-ness, music, good deeds performed by others, charity, the human mind, creativity. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No. We believe he restored the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was the first to act as a living prophet after that restoration, but we do not worship him. We certainly honor and respect him, but no praying to him or anything like that. Show more Show less
