Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Happy husband, proud father of two (with another on the way...), credit union employee, Southern California surfer.

Why I am a Mormon

Though raised in the church, everything I continue to learn through church membership and life in general points to the truths found in the plan of our Heavenly Father. As challenging and awkward as life can be, the experience is purposefully taking us somewhere. If we take the moments to sincerely question and ponder why, truth and right will be made apparent. That's been my experience. I trust that as I try to understand and follow God's plan for us, that I'll continue to be happy in this life and find joy in the eternities ahead.

How I live my faith

Though I struggle, I try to support my wife in all the good things she feels she needs to do. As a father, I encourage my children to live life to the fullest, by trying new things and testing themselves. (I try not to squelch their ideas and wishes....) I hope to be able to influence others at work, at church, friends and family to learn from life mistakes, painful experiences, minor blemishes, etc... so that we can become more.

In whom should we have faith?

Ultimately, our faith must be in Jesus Christ, the one, pure, perfect Man, and Son of God. Faith in anyone else is limiting, and won't get us where we're intended - to the presence of the Father of our spirits. Not only does His sacrifice and grace open that door for us, His example, teachings and Gospel - followed - help us become more during our mortal lives. There are great examples and teachers, and we can learn a ton from good folks around us, but our Savior is the one who we can learn from and become blessed by for all eternity. So grateful.
