Hi I'm Jared Miller

I am from Utah. I am a Chiropractor. I have 4 boys.

About Me

I grew up in Utah. I went on an LDS mission to Guatemala. I went to BYU and then chiropractic school in southern California. I have been a chiropractor since 2003. I run a small chiropractic business. I have 4 boys. My wife was pregnant with a daughter that we lost. I love sports and fitness. I love to camp, hike and hunt. I enjoy movies and books. I am an LDS bishop currently.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was about 16 years old I felt like something was missing in my life. I felt like there was a space in my heart. I tried to fill it with sports and friends and girls and other things. None of those things worked. One day I decided that if I was going to follow Jesus Christ I wanted to know for myself if he was real. I started to read the scriptures and to pray about Jesus. Slowly the space in my life and heart was filled with love and peace. Since that time I have tried to follow what Jesus would want me to do. I try to follow his example. That love and peace has been with me when I try to do that the best I can. I feel like I have learned who I am, why I am here on earth and what the next life can be. I wouldn't trade that knowledge for anything. It brings me so many good things in my life. I know Jesus is real and that we can be forgiven and saved through him. He also taught us all we need to know in this life. He is the perfect example. He can heal our wounds and relate to our grief. I believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is his church.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by the way I treat others. I try to follow what I believe God wants us to do. I am an LDS bishop. That gives me the opportunity to serve others a lot and I love it. I did not go to school to be a bishop. I just do what I can to help people. I get to work with youth groups a lot. I love their energy and excitement. I believe in praying several times daily. I also read the scriptures regularly. I think those 2 things make me stronger in doing good things and better prepared to help others.
