Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a newlywed, a new hire, and a traveler. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently got a new job and am far from home with my wife in England. We didn't foresee ourselves ever living in a foreign country and we are both very glad to know we can attend church with other faithful members of the church where ever we go. While we are here we are trying to see as much of England as we can and I am trying to play as much soccer as possible. I love photography but I try not to make it slow us down too much while sightseeing. I also like writing songs on my acoustic guitar that is waiting for my in our storage unit.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church, but my personal commitment to be a part of the church throughout my life has come from deeply personal feelings that I have experienced through prayer and study of the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. I believe these feelings to have come as promptings from the Holy Ghost to know that God has personally restored His church to the earth and that it is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Living according to the teachings of the church has helped me to live happily and with direction. I love the personal commitment that the church requires of us and the environment that creates in the church, with each member having something to offer from their own personal experience.

How I live my faith

I help plan and organize activities for the men's group in the church, as well as assist in their administration and meetings. I also help with talent show each year.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Taylor
God's plan for our eternal happiness and growth are centered on the family. In holy places called temples families are joined together for eternity through the authority God has given to people to perform these ceremonies. Individuals must live in a way to be saved through Jesus Christ, with the end goal that members of your family can share in the blessings in Heaven. Mormons must meet the standards of the church in the way they live their life to be admitted in the temple and be able to make this commitment to each other and God. Show more Show less
