Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a Eagle Scout, I'm a friend,I am stong, I am fearless. I am a heart transplant recipiant, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. I was born and raised in WA and grew up in the church. I was born with a heart defect which at time in my life gave me some challenges. I am the third of 4 children at home. I love to go camping when i can with my family. I love riding my bicycle. I enjoy going and riding 4 wheelers and motorcycles. I love to offer service and and do landscapping. When I was 15 I had a heart transplant and I have enjoyed having a new lease on life. I was part of a ballroom perfoming group of three years. now im serving my mission in Minnesota.!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the mormon religion. So i've grown up with the teachings all through out my life. However just because i grew up in the religion doesn't make me blind as to what was taught. i too had to build my own testimony of our savior Jesus Christ and truly know what was being taught. A good portion as to why I am a mormon is because the teachings that are taught are understandable and make sense and it just sounds right and true. If I have questions about anything I am able to recive my answers either through prayer by revilation or by someone else who may be a memmber of our church who may know the answer.  Moreover I am a Mormon because the doctrines that they teach speak to me and bring peace to my sole and help me have a better life. I also have recieve a whitness or a manifestation by the power of the holy ghost that they teaching of They Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints are true, of which i cannot deny.

How I live my faith

I detail cars a couple hours a week. I've been asked to fullfill a calling or assignment in church as a sunday school teacher over kids my own age, teaching them, and having disscussions with them in the classroom each week. its a lot of fun i see my self growing as i learn about the gospel and get to see other learn and grow too. I am attending college and ask god to help me through my studies.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon was written by Prophets men who where called by god who recieved revilation or insight as how we, as Gods children, can be happier and come closser to Christ who lived on the american contenent spanning from 600 BC to 400 AD. they testified about who Jesus Christ is and keept records of what happend to them. the last prophet who had all the records was comanded to burried them in a hill in upstate New York. then in the early 1800's Joseph Smith was called by God and Jesus Christ to translate the Book of Mormon. not to write it but to Translate it! I am thankfull for this record of wholy scripture. The Book of Mormon has changed my life and many other lives for the better. The Book of Mormon has given me a greater understanding of who Jesus Christ is and what he has done for all of us here on the earth.  Show more Show less
