Hi I'm Soren

I'm from Arizona. I love books. I find joy in others happiness. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am on a mission for the LDS church in Minnesota, I end that in January. After my mission I'll return to Arizona where I'll go to college there. I love to read books. Mainly fantasy, sci-fi, and historical fiction. I just love to be entertained by a good story! I really enjoy playing video games, especially with my friends or family. I play sports with my friends whenever I can. Indoor soccer is really fun with a bunch of people. So is basketball, football and softball. I worked at a chemical fertilizer company for 3 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family but I've come to know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's church on the earth again. The Book of Mormon is something that has really helped me to gain that knowledge. As it says in Moroni 10:3-5 in the Book of Mormon, I read it, pondered about it, and then prayed to ask God if it is true. I know it is true! You can have that same knowledge if you do the same.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission and teaching those who are interested in learning more about what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe. I also love to help people around me! That's one of the biggest reasons I had in deciding to serve a mission for two years. When I finish that I shall serve the church and others in whatever ways I can!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Simply put, a testimony is a strong belief or knowledge of something. Like my knowledge that the Book of Mormon is scripture, or my knowledge that the Bible is scripture too. I have a testimony of those things. You probably have a strong testimony in Christ and the Bible. Testimonies are great because you can share them with others. Members of the LDS church love to share their testimony with others! Show more Show less
