Hi I'm Joseph Bach

Hi I am a Mormon. I grew up in the United States of America in the southeast. I work as a firefighter in Utah now.

About Me

I work as a firefighter. My wife and I have three boys and live in northern Utah. We have been here for about 17 years. We lived on Ohio, California, and Arizona before coming to Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of the Latter-day Saint church when I was almost 20 years old. I am now almost 50 and I remember very clearly hearing about the Book of Mormon and then reading it. When I started reading the Book of Mormon, hearing about Joseph Smith and living prophets it was as if I already knew these things but I needed to be reminded. I prayed about what I was learning and the spirit began whispering to me that it was true. I have had many confirmations since then that continue to confirm the Book of Mormon is true. For anyone that is serious about finding out the truthfulness of this church's doctrines, you must begin by reading the Book of Mormon and asking God if it's true. He will NOT lie to you.

How I live my faith

I work in the Bishopric of my ward. I have responsibilities that include working with the Young Men program, Scouting, the Primary and Music. I love the youth so I thoroughly enjoy my calling.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Joseph Bach
Many time the missionaries themselves pay for the expenses of a mission. Sometimes their family helps pay the expenses and some times the cost of serving a mission is picked up by ward members. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

Joseph Bach
Like the King James version of the Bible, it is a record of God's dealing with his people. Show more Show less
