About Me

Some of the things that I love to do is to sit down and dance to some wonderful or watching movies or hanging out with the people that I care about. I am a college student I go to school full time and work part time :

Why I am a Mormon

The reason that I became a Mormon was of the time that I felt the Spirit for the first time. It was such a powerful experience it changed my heart and thoughts about the church. I still remember how I was converted. I had an ex boyfriend that went on a mission and I was talking about it with some friends of mine which happened to be part of the Church. They told me so much as well as they invited me to church on Sunday. I went up on their offer after much thought and went to church. The feeling I felt when I first entered the church was amazing though I was nervous not knowing anyone. Eventually my friends came and they told me in detail of everything that happens in Sacrament as well as Sunday school as well as Relief Society which is a class for just the women. It was actually in Sunday School class when I first met the missionaries and right away they asked for to be able to meet with me and to have a lesson. I agreed and we planned to meet in a couple days at my friends house. So the days came and went and it was time to meet with the missionaries for my friend had brought them over for dinner. After dinner we got into the lesson and I felt this burning inside of me when the missionaries talked. I felt such happiness, love and peace and I almost succumbed to tears. Then I heard this small still voice say " this is true!" I think I am just hearing things I ignore it and yet again the voice says " this is true!" then I knew it had to be true as when I told the missionaries on what I was feeling they said that it was the Spirit testifying to me that the Gospel was true. Then the missionaries asked me if I was to be baptized and though I hesitated a bit but I said yes and I have not regretted that decision. I can testify to all of you who read this is Jesus is the Christ and that he lives again. That we all have a Heavenly Father that loves us sssooo much and wants us to come back to him. I also testify that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that we have a living prophet on Earth that helps to guide all us members of the Church. I also testify if you want to know for yourself if this is all true ask Heavenly Father with true intent and he will make it known to you through the power of the Spirit. I say this in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I am involved in the church I try to go as often as I can on Sunday. I am a visiting teacher and I have 2 callings one which is for the ward directory which is like a newspaper in which have pictures of everyone as well as a lil bio of them and their phone numbers so that everyone can get to know each other. As well I got called to this other calling in which a committee and I organize workshops and speakers to teach all the girls in the church some skills :
