Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in the rain, worked in the city, served in the orient, backpacked the past and live in the mtns. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student with plenty of college experience to go around! I love piano and the classics, reading good literature, wakeboarding, playing ball, the occasional round of golf, and learning something new.

Why I am a Mormon

Most obviously, I'm a Mormon because that's where I started. But I've stayed a Mormon because I've learned that God's purposes have truly been outlined via the restoration of the gospel in 1820. Often when I think of my choice of religions I think of Peter when he asked, "Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life." Indeed, His words are here in his restored Gospel.

How I live my faith

Day to day. I live my faith in the way I dress, the curfews I set for myself, the goals I aspire to, the people I try to surround myself with, and the thoughts I try to facilitate. Being a Mormon is learning to become the person I know I want to be.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Newton's laws of motion suggest that an object in motion, stays in motion, unless otherwise acted upon. I have come to realize that doubt, despair and guilt push us disparagingly downwards. So why is it that one day we can feel so encompassed by emotional fog, and the next we can have hope beyond the horizons? The answer IS the atonement. If you haven't felt that before, it's time to believe. It's worth it, you have my testimony. Show more Show less
