Hi I'm Kevin

I grew up in Wisconsin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a chicken farm and worked there most of my childhood. I love to play sports (soccer especially) and more than anything love to spend time with my family. I am a father of five wonderful children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church. Not because anyone told me, but because I asked Heavenly Father and He answered my prayer. I feel those same feelings of peace and truth when I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible and when I serve in church responsibilities. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ that I am taught each Sunday brings me so much happiness and joy.

How I live my faith

As the leader of our congegration, there are many times that members look to me for direction and spiritual guidance or counsel. Whether it be going to their home to visit them, meeting with them at church or just speaking with them on the phone, there is a sense of joy and happiness that comes when I serve them. I also enjoy being a dad. There are so many small opportunities for me to live my faith as I interact with my children and as we do things together. They see me make choices that call for honesty and integrity as well as opportunities to serve others. As I live my faith, I am teaching them by example and then get to support that by having nightly scripture devotional where we talk about the teachings of Christ and inevitably there is an opportunity identify something that happened that day and how the scriptures help us know what choices to make.
