Hi I'm Brady

I like to smile. I don't like people in my blind spot. tree houses are bomb. I'm happy to be alive. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints in the St. Louis, Missouri area. I'm 20 years old and I was born and raised in Utah. I love interacting with people and learning about others. Some of my favorite things that I like to do are Run, listen to music, hang with my friends, try new things, and be with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the one real and solid thing that I have in my life. Everything in life is so full of commotion and uncertainty that it's hard to find the right way to live. The Gospel is that way for me. Life is so crazy and hectic that i need something to rely on. After all the world is a really scary place. The gospel of Jesus Christ is my comfort, my peace, and my joy that i can always rely on to be there for me. I have felt sorrow and depression and all sorts of messed up emotions that life can bring. It's because I've been in those low states that I'm reassured that the gospel truly blesses my life. I'm happier when I live right. I'm happier when I strive to be like Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching it. I'm on a two year mission right now to proclaim the things that i know to be true. This is the neatest experience that I've ever had in my life. It brings me great joy to see others find true happiness by learning about the Gospel. I love the principle of agency and allowing others the God given right to make choices for themselves. As a missionary we show and explain the fruits of the gospel, then simply invite others to come unto Christ by living those principles. In no other way other then coming unto Christ will individuals find "true" happiness in this life and salvation in the life to come.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Baptism is something that we are commanded to do. It is a symbol of us covenanting or promising God that we are going to live a better life and try to follow in the example of Jesus. It is through Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end that we are saved. Show more Show less
