Hi I'm Seth

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a new convert to the Church as I was baptized on May 16, 2010. For many years I have practiced Real Estate and worked with several non-profits and start-ups as well. I do enjoy many kinds of community service and have been acknowledged for the work I have done. I am also a avid down hill skier.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I was a child I would lay awake all night worried about the future. I had known since the age of 5 I was to be a Mormon, but did not understand why. I finally said a prayer to Heavenly Father to give me, but I could not go back to my faith(I had given up on my self). I stand free from oaths to say that 2 months later the spirit on new years 2009 after 30 days of being enlightened forced me on my knees and my toung to confess as I had been born again. I then entered my year of acc ountability until thanksgiving 2009 I said a point blank prayer to please forgive me for feeling this way but I have always felt I was to be a Mormon, I apologized for feeling this way and asked if I should order the book of Mormon. My heart grew warm and my skin tingled as all these ansewers came. I was to order the BOM, run as fast as I could, I would loose everything, I was forgiven, many would doubt me, however I would be sustained and I am loved. I had been told that I would not be allowed to convert, but I knew Heavenly Father had said different. Dec. 30 2009 I told Heavenly Father I would not kneel to Satan and to strike me down, but first let me help his people. 3 days later Heavenly Father releasing me from bondage, then the elders finally showed up at my door. The process has been difficult. At the time I was a well known and respected man. I lost my job, everything I owned, my family to the extent that I wound up with nothing and the spirit guided me to Salt Lake with nothing, knowing know body. The brethren took good care of me and breathed life back in to me. I am grateful that I received my endowment 1 year to the day of my baptism. I am grateful of the protection put over me by Heavenly Father to declare what I have seen. I know the church is true as fact not faith, but faith precedes the miracle. As my patriarchal blessing confirms. I have no vial I know the church is true. I have seen it in heaven and earth as I remember my previous existence. In Jesus Name Amen

How I live my faith

Through being the best man I can be every day to everyone. By focusing on my relationship with Heavenly Father and treating everyone with kindness. Since my conversion there has been many changes. I live my faith by doing what I have promised to do to serve my heavily father and his people, not my self. You do not know love until you have sacrificed yourself for others. I am living my faith by getting re married on April 6 2012 to a sister in Utah. As well I am moving to Utah and will start working on my Law degree ( International Business and Global Policies) in order to fulfill my future callings in the church as I have been directed to do.
