Hi I'm Trav

I am a civil engineer. I have two boys and a lovely wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a civil engineer in western Washington and I love the outdoors. As a family, we love to go camping. I also enjoy fishing, reading, going for walks with my family, and playing games with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS faith and have always been a member. There are two reasons that I have remained a member of this faith. First, I believe that God wants to, and can, communicate to us through the Holy Spirit. I also believe that when God does communicate to us in our mind and heart he communicates truth. As I study the Book of Mormon and the principles of the gospel taught in the LDS faith I have felt God confirm that they are true. Second, I believe that as we live correct principles our lives are better, we are happier, and we experience more peace. As I live the principles of the gospel taught in the LDS faith I am happier and experience more peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through daily scripture study, loving my wife and my family, and trying to love and serve people that are around me. I believe that my most important responsibility is as a father and a husband. Through my scripture study I try to learn and understand how my Savior Jesus Christ lived his life and use that as my example in everything that I try to do. I study his life and his teachings and use the principles that I learn to be a better father and husband. As I learn truths of God I also try to share them with those that I love to help them live happier and healthier lives. I believe that all on earth are children of God and therefore my brothers and sisters. As my brothers and sisters I try to love everyone and share the things that I know, and have blessed my life, with them.
