Hi I'm Sharon

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a "home manager," wife, and mother of 6 children. I love to take pictures and create memories that will bring my family close together. In my spare time, I can be found scrapbooking. I also enjoy music and singing. My oldest daughter was just diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. We also recently learned that our youngest son has PDD-NOS which is on the autism spectrum.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has blessed my life. It gives such clarity in a world that is cluttered. Being a "mormon mom" gives me purpose as a daughter of God and a plan to teach my children. Knowing that we are on earth for a reason and that we are working towards living together forever because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice is wonderful. I also think the Savior's ministry is and was one of love which is an amazing example set for each of us to follow in how we treat one another.

How I live my faith

Each day I try to serve, love, and teach my children. (and laugh with them:) Being a good neighbor and friend is also very important to me. I like to be involved in the schools. I currently teach the 11-12 year old children in our local congregation. I like to look for the positive things around me...little blessings that occur daily...I'm convinced they are there waiting to be acknowledged.
