Hi I'm Joe
I am from northern New York, and I'm a Mormon
I am a missionary for the church right now in Montana. For 2 years I serve Jesus Christ in bringing his children to him. For the 4 years before I started my service I was in college for Chemistry. I played a lot of racquetball through college. I have 2 younger brothers and a loving mom and dad. we all joined the church when I was 11 years old when the missionaries were introduced to us by my parents friends.
When I was 11 years old the missionaries came to our house for 6 mo solid. Every sunday night from 5-930pm we woudl have dinner and talk for ever. My dad had a lot of questions but never one they didnt answer to his satisfaction. My mom and I didn't have so many questions, just a few here and there. But when they told me the story of Joseph Smith, when he went out to pray at 14, I knew that they were teaching truth. I knew that it was all right. I had a feeling of peace and content come over me that I had never felt before. my parents and I along with my borthers were baptised at the end of that 6 mo period and have been here in the church since for 11 amazing years.
Before i left home to serve a mission for the church I taught 8-9 year olds about the basics of the gospel. I also was a Cub Scout leader for the same ammount of time. I then taught 12 and 13 year olds followed by 14 and 15 year olds about the gospel. I was also an assistant scout master for them. Now I serve as a missionary for the church in Montana for 2 years. The greatest service I have done so far.
