Hi I'm Dan Shaha

I'm a soldier, Husband, and a Father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and a father. I serve my Country in the Army. That pretty much sums up my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because The Gospel brings peace to my life. Whatever happens, I know that if I hold true to the Gospel and the Principles it teaches that I can survive any challenge in life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions. I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't go to the clubs. I let those I associate with know that I chose to live my life by a different standard. And in the Army it is hard sometimes. Sometimes I feel like I'm on the outside looking in. But I draw strength from knowing that I am being an example to those around me of how to live a truly happy life.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Dan Shaha
Mormons believe that families can be together forever. There is no "til death do you part" clause attached to my wedding vows. My wife and I will be together forever as husband and wife. This brings great strength to my marriage. It is especially important to me because I am a service member. There are times when I am called away for extended periods of time. It is comforting to know that whatever happens, I will see my family again, whether in this life or the next. And that brings a peace of mind like no other. Show more Show less
