Hi I'm Sarah Mac

I want to travel a LOT someday, in my dreams I have a pet white tiger and eat at JimmyJohns every day. I am a Mormon

About Me

I love to sing sing sing, play volleyball, watch movies, and do things with my family. Activities with friends are so much fun! However, there is nobody I would rather spend a day with than my neice and nephew.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly, I was born into an LDS family so in the beginning it wasn't really a conscious choice that I had made. But as I grew older I realized that I needed to gain a testimony of my own or lose it altogether. So I began searching and praying. Instead of merely bearing through a church class, I began to take notes and reread them. I began to pray to recieve the Spirit of the Lord. For confirmation of the things that I was learning. The Lord never disappoints. And I know that He didn't disappoint me. Now, when I go through trials in my life, instead of asking "why me?", I ask the Lord "what can I learn from this experience?" When I go through life like that I continually grow closer to the Lord and gain more of a testimony of this church through the good times and the bad.

How I live my faith

I am proud to say that I am on the Activities Committee, so basically I get to plan a bunch of fun stuff and bring treats to activities! I attend and participate in church every Sunday, study my scriptures daily, and pray to my Heavenly Father all the day long. I love to go out teaching with the missionaries because that's my own special way of being one. I do my best to be a shining example of the love and divinity of Christ every day.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Sarah Mac
As human beings, there is no possible way for us to live this life perfectly. And even if there was, we still wouldn't be Heavenly beings (necessary to live with God again). The Savior, Jesus Christ, is the link between us and eternal salvation with our Heavenly Father. He suffered for our sins so that, if we repent, we would not have to suffer like Him. All He asks of us is to make His will our own. That may sound difficult and, make no mistake, at times it can be. But the majesty and glory of the life after this one if we do what He asks us to is so so far beyond our imagination. We need only become like Him. To live in Eternal Glory with our Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ, to gain our divine inheritance from the Lord, and to become more and more like His son, Jesus Christ is why we need a Savior. None of this would be at all possible without the Atonement made by Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
