Hi I'm Lynn "B"

I am the oldest of 4 siblings. I am a Retirement Lifestyle Specialist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my sweetheart, Donna, for 35+ years. We have been blessed with 3 children ... and now have 7 grandchildren. I have been in the Insurance and Financial Services business, self employed, since 1987. I now specialize in Retirement, Income & Estate Planning. My favorite past-times are hiking, anything outdoors and traveling, especially cruises or any trip that gets us to Hawaii or Spain. I enjoy most sports, especially golf. Most of my younger years I grew up on the Indian Reservations of New Mexico, Arizona and Oklahoma. My Father is a retired dentist that worked for the Indian Health Service, aka Public Health Service. I have a passion for helping educate folks about SAFE investment alternatives and retirement planning options to bless their lives and the lives of their intended heirs. I served as a full time missionary in Southern Spain from 1977 to 1979 ... hence my love for that country and its people. I consider New Mexico my home in spite of all the moves that our family made when I was younger. I have served as a Planning & Zoning Commissioner in our city, Rio Rancho, NM, and have served in various other volunteer roles ... Chamber of Commerce, Boys & Girls Clubs, Little League Baseball, Boy Scouts of America, etc. I love my country and appreciate all those who serve her!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a "Mormon" because I believe in the teachings of the restored Church of Jesus Christ. I have received personal assurances on multiple occasions regarding my faith. I believe that our Heavenly Father loves ALL of his children. He wants each of us to find joy and peace in our lives. He wants us to each have a personal relationship with Him, through His son Jesus Christ. I believe that God and our Savior Jesus Christ communicate with us in these days. The blessing of personal communication through prayer and personal revelation from God are available to everyone. I believe that we have Prophets and Apostles on the earth today just as there were Prophets and Apostles in the past. Truth is eternal and Our Heavenly Father wants ALL of His children to enjoy that in their lives to help them find answers to their questions and solutions to their problems. Being a "Christian" and trying to follow the teachings and example of our Savior Jesus Christ brings me peace. Having answers to questions like "Where did I come from" ... "Why am I here" ... and "Where am I going after this life" ... brings me comfort and confidence. I wish to share that with all those I come in contact through my example, friendship and service. I am very grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ that allows me and all of God's children to receive forgiveness for mistakes and comfort from sorrows and tragedies.

How I live my faith

Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Mormons is a full-time commitment. It is a way of life... not just a social club or a once a week "appearance". It guides my daily routine at home, at work, or in whatever activity I am participating in. The Church gives all of its members the opportunity to provide service to the congregation and to the community in many ways. I have served in administrative positions within the "Ward" congregation as well as in teaching youth of all ages, Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting, Missionary service, etc. It is sometimes a challenge to balance all of the demands that come from being self employed and being actively engaged in community and Church activities. My wife, Donna, is a great support and helps me keep the balance as needed. She is very active in Church and other activities as well and uses her talent for music to bless peoples lives.
