Hi I'm Scott

I love to hike and camp and spend time with my family. I work as a PA with Cardiologists and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live with my wife and 4 children in central washington. We enjoy doing many things together including hiking camping and geocaching together. I work with a great group of docs and enjoy treating patients with various forms of heart disease.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family. I was taught good work ethic and integrity by my parents and how to rely on the Lord throught the trials that come to each of us as we live our lives. I have prayed and received confirmation from the Spirit this church is true. All of us are entitled to that same blessing as we search things out in our minds and ask the Lord in prayer if they are true. These feelings come as impressions or peaceful thoughts or even a calm feeling.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to help others in all I do. I currently serve as a Bishop for our ward and have the unique opprotunity to share my time and talents the Lord has blessed me with. I strive in my everyday life to be an example to everyone I come in contact with even if I am not talking about church realted items. As I live the standards of the Church and the gospel of Jesus Christ I am lifted up and strengthened. I am grateful to my Savior for the sacrifice He made for each and everyone of us.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Scott
Only members who are worthy may enter the temple. Often people ask what's so secret about the temples that we don't talk about what goes on there. It's not that it is secret it's sacred. We beleive temples are the House of the Lord and that we must must be pure of heart to enter them. That doesn't mean we are perfect just striving to be so and doing a fairly good job of keeping the commandments. Show more Show less
