Hi I'm Kat

I'm a cowgirl, a web developer and designer, and - I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am an average twenty something girl! I refuse to call myself an adult yet. I work as a web designer, but I love spending my time with friends, snowboarding, enjoying new restaurants, watching movies, all of those lovely things!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because. . . it's everything to me! I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints, but it wasn't until college that it really hit me that I knew it was true. I realized I had a personal need to know the Savior, and I found that gateway through my religion. I'm a Mormon, because everything about our religion leads me to know Jesus Christ in greater depth. We are taught the scriptures, and how to find Christ and His example in them - and most importantly, we're taught to echo His example in our daily lives. I'm a Mormon, because this gospel leads me closer to my Savior - and being like Him is my fondest goal.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily! In the small things - from daily prayer and scripture study, to serving as a visiting teacher! I live my faith my trying to love all people that I come into contact with - and by striving to lead a more Christlike life.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

By following His example, and believing in His words. As we align our lives with the things He taught, we will start to see His hand in our lives more and more each day - and the more we see Him in our lives, the more our faith will grow! So the simple answer is - do the small things that would make your more Christlike! I had a teacher who challenged me once to grow "Everyday closer to the Savior, by everyday being more like Him". Each day, find something in your life that you can change to become more like the Savior - and rely on Him to help you change. As you do so - you'll be able to recognize His help in making you more like Him! Show more Show less
