Hi I'm Lisa

I am a college graduate. I am a photography enthusiast. I love to cook. I am a Mormon

About Me

I graduated from Brigham Young Univeristy With a Bachelor of Science in Marriage, Family and Human Development. I love baking, cooking and photography. Most of all I love being Mormon :)

Why I am a Mormon

Their comes a time in every persons life when they must decide what they believe. For me it was process of a lifetime. I was raised as a Mormon and therefore had been taught the teachings from the very beginning. However, their still came a time where I had to decide for myself if what I was being taught was true. i followed the advice given to me by my parents and by church leaders and prayed about it. Like it says in James 15-6 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." My answer did not come in a big swoop or a loud voice but rather a realization that I already knew the answer was a resounding yes. I already had a testimony of the truth I had just not recognized it because I had never taken the time to stop and ask.

How I live my faith

I try to follow my faith exactly so that others can see my example and want to know why I am so happy.

What is being a Mormon like?

I have been a member of the church my entire life and I can say with all honesty that I would not want to live any other lifestyle than the one I have been taught. Being a mormon is more than just going to church on sunday.Being a member of His church means being a representative of Jesus Christ at all times, in all places, and in all things. It can be challenging at times but so rewarding. It is the challenge that makes us stronger and makes us grow. Without the gospel of Jesus Christ my life would be stagnent. We are still faced with all the challenges that people not of our faith deal with, but their is also a peace and an assurance that makes those challenges easier to face.   Show more Show less
