Hi I'm Bill.

I'm a husband, a father, and a transportation engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Kansas where I grew up in a family of six girls and two boys. My grandmother was one of the first Mormons in our town. I moved with my family to Texas and then later to Utah where I spent my teenage years. I have always been the quiet one, but I love hearing others' stories and experiences. I am interested in all languages but especially Portuguese, German, and Korean. I also enjoy playing the piano. I have a wonderful wife and two young kids that have made my life far better than I could have ever imagined.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the influence of my family in my life. My home growing up was a place of spiritual learning, where I was taught by the example of my parents and siblings. As I have searched the scriptures and prayed, I have felt the Lord's influence in my life. He has truly made life a rich and rewarding adventure. Throughout my life's experiences, I have gained a strong testimony of the Savior and what he did for me. I am amazed that he gives me opportunities to be an influence in the lives of others. I feel the most joy when I am serving others, and the Church gives me a place where I can use my gifts and talents to serve those around me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the teachings of our Savior. I try my best to live up to the potential that my Father in Heaven gave me. I look for any opportunity to serve those in my family and my community. As a member of our congregation's choir, I enjoy expressing my testimony through song.
