Hi I'm Jamie

I grew up in Mississippi, I am a missionary in Lansing Michigan. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am nineteen years old. I have lived in Southern Mississippi for most of my life. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Michigan Lansing Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I am engaged to my wonderful sweetheart.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I have seen the blessings of being a member of this church in my life and in the lives of others. It has helped me to get through some of the roughest times in my life. I have seen how this message can change someone else's life, and how it can give everyone more hope, happiness, and peace. The message of a living prophet on the earth today is the greatest message since the ressurection of our Lord Jesus Christ. I know that this church can change and improve your life as it has mine.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by obeying God's will and commandments. I try to help others whenever I can. I also try to share the good news of this gospel with anyone who will listen to me. I go to church every Sunday, and I am kind to others. I help out in my family, and I choose uplifting entertainment, places to go, and things to do.

What is the priesthood?

The Priesthood is the power given by God to man to act in his name. This power can only be given by God through his ordained, worthy, and chosen servants. This priesthood gives us the authority to perform key ordinances such as baptism. The priesthood is deeply treasured and respected in the church, and it is only handled when based upon the principles of righteousness. Show more Show less
