Hi I'm Andrew

I'm from Washington state. I'm a Computer Engineering student who loves to play and watch sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying computer engineering. I am in my final year and will graduate in April 2012. It hasn't been easy working and going to school at the same time but with the Lord's help I am close to graduating. I have been married for over a year and my wife will graduate in December 2012. I am an avid sports fan and like to attend my university's sporting events as much as my time allows me. I also participate in intramural soccer. I love to watch movies and like many different genres. Recently, my wife and I found out that our baby is a boy!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a faithful Mormon home. I have learned about Jesus Christ and his Gospel since I was a child. I went to church every Sunday and I learned about all the prophets in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I have prayed to our Heavenly Father to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's church. I have done the same to know that the Book of Mormon is from God and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that God has responded to me through the Holy Ghost. When I asked I felt peaceful and happy and I knew that those things were true. I have tried to always follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ as best I can.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ taught that we should love God and love our neighbor. I try to love God by doing what He wants me to do. I try to obey His commandments and live my life how He would have me live it. I love my neighbor by helping others when I can. I fast once a month and donate money to help those that are in need. I visit two couples in my congregation once a month to share a small message to them and help them wherever they need. Above all, I try to follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost to recognize when I can help.
