Hi I'm Harold

I am a quiet, hardworking regular guy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired Safety Engineer. I am married and father of 7 and grandfather of 28. During my working career I worked for the US Army helping to safely get rid of the US stockpile of chemical weapons. I have spent more than twenty years in Boy Scouts of America serving as a scoutmaster or varsity team coach. Our family has become a family that loves the out of doors. I helped my father-in-law build a cabin in close proximity to the Beartooth Wilderness. I have worked hard to help my children gain their educations.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon home and learned the gospel from my youth. I have now gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. I love Jesus Christ and and am deeply grateful that our loving Heavenly Father prepared a plan for us, his spirit children, and that Jesus Christ accepted his mission as our Savior and Redeemer. I am learning more about this divine plan and the atonement of our Savior everyday. I am thankful that His plan will allow us to live with him again and to be with our family forever. This is very important to me. My family brings me great joy.

How I live my faith

I feel a great responsibility to tell others about the hope and joy that I have found and have served as a missionary in Mexico twice. The first time when I was 19 and the second, after my retirement and with my wife. We are now preparing to leave for Colombia South America in a coulple of months. We love being with the youth and feeling of their spirit. In between our missionary service we have worked in the temple in Salt Lake City helping those who come to make their families become eternal families.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

To increase faith in Jesus Christ, we should learn about Him in the scriptures and then follow His example and obey God's commandments. If we pray to God and ask for His spirit to guide us and then be obedient to God's will our faith in the Savior and the atonement will increase Show more Show less
