Hi I'm Nels

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Airline Pilot, and I love the awesome views I get to see at work everyday. I have a wonderful family. Currently my wife and I have three children, one girl and two boys. I grew up in a very small town and have been riding horses since I was less then a year old. I love spending time out in the mountains with my horses. My family is very competitive. We all love sports especially football (American Football). My boys and I spend a lot of time playing football and watching football. We like to play basketball as well, but not really into watching basketball. My daughter is great at baseball too and we enjoy a good family baseball game every now and then.

Why I am a Mormon

The first time I knew this was the true church of God was when I was 18 years old and a freshman in College. I had the chance of listening to a returned LDS Missionary share his testimony and I felt the spirit so strong that I knew this had to be true. I then studied more about this religion and I served a mission for the church. I love seeing the blessings that can come to people from living the gospel. I know without a doubt that our Heavenly Father wants us to live with him again, and I know that by following the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints I can return home to my Father after this life.

How I live my faith

It can be tough in the world today to stand up for your faith. I try to always remember that my Heavenly Father is watching. I know he loves me as his child, even when I make mistakes. I know that as his child he would want me to give my time to help others in need. I do my best to always be available when the call to serve comes my direction. I believe that one of the best things we can do with our time is to serve those around us. It is hard at times to take time out of my life, but I know those around me are Gods children as well and he needs me to do the work and help those in need.
