Hi I'm Ben

I love tutoring others in math and making music. I'm just a regular college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student who loves math! That's why I decided to become a math major. Besides that, I love making music. I play the violin and piano and I also sing. I love to read and learn, and I read just about any book that I can get my hands on. I just returned from serving a two year mission for my church, and was privileged to learn Spanish and serve the people in El Salvador and Belize.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a great family! My parents since I was young have taught me to follow the principles taught by Jesus Christ. Even though I was born into the church, however, I had to know for myself that what my parents had taught me was true. I followed the counsel given by the savior in John 7:17 where he says that if any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God or not. As I have lived the principles taught in the Church, I have felt the Spirit of the Lord testifying to me that what I was doing was true. It has changed my life and the lives of many others that I have met.

How I live my faith

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we are called to fulfill certain roles to serve others and to help the church to stay strong. I have been called to serve as a leader over the young men where I attend. I try my best to teach them things that will help them throughout their lives and to serve others as the Savior did when he walked on this earth. I am also privileged to be called as what we call a home teacher. My duties as a home teacher include visiting others in their homes and doing all that I can to serve them.
