Hi I'm Brian

I'm a brand marketer and a bicyclist. I'm a Mormon

About Me

The most important thing in my life is my family. I am married to a wonderful woman of faith and have three active boys under the age of seven. I went to school to study jazz music and ended up finding my dream job as a brand marketer. I help manage and market several branded products you might find in your neighborhood grocery store. I am a bicycle commuter because it is good for the planet and good for my wallet and health. I've ridden across Wisconsin and Iowa and plan to tackle other states soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I first learned about the Mormon church through my parents who are active members. I decided to become a Mormon because this faith brings me peace and an ongoing understanding of God's plan for me and my family.

How I live my faith

I am the Elders Quorum President in my congregation. This means I am responsible for all the priesthood holders that have been ordained to the office of Elder. I teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, organize service opportunities, and look out for the needs of these men and their families.

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

As in Bible times we believe that a man or woman must be called of God to serve in His Kingdom "without purse or scrip". When He calls us to serve, through a priesthood representative, we volunteer our time and in doing so learn more about Christ-like service and sacrifice. Show more Show less
