Hi I'm Turtle*

I love the Lord

About Me

I've been a member since March 22, 2008 and it's been rocky to say the least. But I love this church and the princples. They have never giving up on me and it's easy for me to not give up on myself now. It's hard sometimes living completley differently then "normal mormons" do but I'm willing to learn how to be a better Christian. My entire family is Mormon besides my mother. But she loves the church too she's just stubborn lol. I know one day she will, it just take time. I have a boyfriend going on a mission soon, which is a new experience for me but I'm adjusting. I love him very much and this will make us stronger. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to meet new people. I'm a homebody so I don't go out much. But I love movies, especially muscials. I wanna be more active so please chat with me.

Why I am a Mormon

Im mormon because I chose to love the Lord the only way I knew how. I gave him my heart and my soul and this church showed me how. They never rushed me or pushed me into something I want. I chose to listen and try to understand what this church is about. I became a member when I was 18 so I had 18 years of being a bapist and non denomational, I was ready for a change. I wanted a church that would touch me in every level. I read prayed and asked many questions. But being Mormon isn't a title. You have to be who you say your going to be. Being more than just a person hoping that your doing right, but actually knowing your doing right and one day you'll be rewarded for it. That's why I'm Mormon, but of what I'm doing I know I'll get to live with my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Um...That's a hard one. I'm a convert and I haven't doing well. I don't do things too bad. Just not going to church. I moved once I got bapisted so I never had a calling. Which stung a little. I've always wanted to be active but I dont do my part. So for now I live my faith by going to church sometimes.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

No way man! Adoption is always better than hurting yourself and/or your baby. Someone who can handle being a parent can take the responisble for you. It's hard but sometimes that's what's best. Show more Show less
