Hi I'm Emily Anne

I love Kids, Dogs, the outdoors and my cello. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mom of 3 little kids. I enjoy classical music and classic literature. My husband and I like playing music together, with him on the piano and I on the cello. We also like to be outside together, sledding and hiking are some of our favorite activities. I also enjoy teaching our schnauzer poodle mix to do tricks and one day I'd like to train dogs competitively. I graduated college in Landscape Management, and this summer I look forward to putting that knowledge to work in my own yard.

Why I am a Mormon

I came to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true gradually. While I was born in the church, I still had to come to know that it was true for myself. I know that real peace has come to me in this life from living the way God would have me live. Reading the scriptures daily helps me remember my focus should be on the Savior and living as he lived. The more I forgive, the more I serve, the more selfless I become, the more I feel my saviors love and the more faith and power I have to get through the difficult days that can and do come in everyone’s life.

How I live my faith

Every week my husband and I get our kids ready, and we go to church. I teach 10 and 11 year olds, I enjoy preparing for the lessons and teaching about the Savior. I enjoy making friends at church and visiting people in their home and in mine. I love that there are always opportunities to serve those around us, and going to church allows me to find those opportunities easily. Serving is what gives me some of the greatest joy I have found in this life.
