Hi I'm Luke

I'm a missionary in Oklahoma, I enjoy sports, I love my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy long walks on the beach... I'm just kidding. I LOVE being with my family! I love serving others to make others happy. I am definitely a "happy-go lucky" type of guy. I love being active and playing any type of sport. I love being outdoors and being with the people I love. I am currently doing one of my favorite things to do, which is serving others, and that is being a missionary in the great state of Oklahoma!!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 15 years old, I was starting to question why I was going to church and if the Church was really true. I had been going to church just to keep my family happy and also for the social aspect of it. I was going off of what my parents had taught me and I was going off of their testimonies of the gospel, which are amazingly strong and powerful. But I had to find my own personal testimony of the gospel. So, I had an opportunity to go to a youth program that the church puts on called Especially for Youth. There, my councilor invited all of us, if we didn't know if the gospel was true, if Joseph Smith was a prophet and if the Book of Mormon was true, to ask in prayer that night. That night, I had an answer to my prayers that changed my life forever. The Spirit that testified to me of the truthfulness of the gospel was incredibly strong and I knew that the gospel, Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon were true and still are today. My testimony grows each and everyday as I continue to learn and apply the gospel to my life.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am serving as a full-time missionary in the Oklahoma Oklahoma City mission. I live my faith by going out and proclaiming the gospel to God's children in Oklahoma City.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Luke
We give Joesph Smith respect because he was a prophet of God, just as Moses or Noah or any of the other prophets in the Bible. We do not worship him. Through Joseph Smith, the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored, or brought back. Show more Show less
