Hi I'm Jeff Kerr

I grew up in San Diego, CA. I am a husband, father, banker and sports enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father. I love my wife who is my best friend. My wife and children are my top priority and I cherish my time with them. My Mom became a Mormon as a teenager in Mexico. I am an Executive Vice President at a major U.S. Bank. I have two daughters in college and a son in high school. I enjoy playing basketball and golf and coaching youth athletics. I am on the executive board of a non profit focused on helping young people succeed in the global economy.

Why I am a Mormon

I enjoy peace and understanding in my life because of the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I believe in God, the Eternal Father, his son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. I know that this life is an opportunity for us to learn and grow and become more like our Heavenly Father. I know that through obedience to the commandments of God we can experience joy and happiness and qualify for eternal life which includes living with my wife and children forever. Being a Mormon is the source of the greatest blessings of my life.

How I live my faith

It is a prviledge to serve in the church. I have had the opportunity to lead a large congregation and currently am a member of a presidency responsible for the affairs of members of the church in a large area of Minneapolis. I have taught Sunday School classes, organized youth retreats and scout events. I have taught early morning seminary (bible study) classes for high school students. I have served a full-time mission for 2 years in Kentucky. I visit families on a regular basis to check on their welfare and to offer assistance.

Why do Mormons believe in “eternal life?”

Jeff Kerr
We believe that we lived with our Heavenly Father before coming to this earth. Our earth life is to help us prepare to live with our Heavenly Father again. Our earth experience is very important in helping us prepare for our post earth life. Our Heavnly Father lives and eternal life and we have that opportunity also. Show more Show less
