Hi I'm Kendra

I'm a student. I'm a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the 3rd oldest of 13 children. I was born in Reno, NV and raised in California's Bay Area. I'm a junior in college, studying English and Spanish. There are many things I enjoy doing: watching shows on Hulu, hanging out with friends, planning parties, and as weird as it might seem, I really love cleaning and organizing my home. I've been married for about 3 years to my best friend. Together, we love to camp, hike, play sports and play board games.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because there's no other religion on Earth that makes me as happy. This gospel teaches us to serve others, to love our enemies, to strengthen our homes and families. I've learned that I am a beloved daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me and my life has meaning, purpose and direction. Because of this gospel I know who I am, I know where I came from and where I'm going. I know why I'm here and I know who I can become. This gospel allows me to be the happiest I can be.

How I live my faith

I've been blessed with the opportunity to serve in many capacities. I've been a teacher to all ages, I've led music, I've planned meetings and activities, I've visited other women in their homes in order to serve them and lift their spirits. I live my faith by being the best I can be. I surround myself with good friends who build me up as well as with uplifting music and language. Throughout my life I have felt blessed so many times that I feel it's only right to be able to sacrifice my time to give to the Lord. I love my country and I support its leaders. I pray and read my scriptures. I attend church every Sunday and attend weekday meetings/activities whenever I can.
