Hi I'm Tim

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired Naval Officer and currently work as a Facilities Manager at a plastics company. I love my country and was honored to serve. I am married and my wife and I have seven children and 16 grandchildren. I enjoy golfing, bowling and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

At 21 years of age I was searching for a change in the way I was living my life. I met a young man who introduced me to the missionaries. I met with them and followed the instructions they gave me. I learned about the Savior Jesus Christ and through this experience gained a personal testimony of Him. I came to know that what the missionaries taught me was true as I prayed sincerely. Through the years my life has been richly blessed as I have devoted my life to serving the Lord. I owe Him all that I am that is good and feel a great desire to try to improve and become more like Him each day. I love my family and have a firm conviction of the eternal nature of the family. I know we are led by a living prophet who speaks with God, our Heavenly Father on behalf of the Church as a whole and also am blessed with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I can go to Him in a most personal way and He hears and answers my prayers. I consider myself richly blessed to be associated with this Church and it's people. May God grant you to find the joy and truth that you seek.

How I live my faith

Through the years, I have served in many Church and community responsibilities. All of these have blessed my life and left me greatly fulfilled. I love to visit my Home Teaching families every month. It helps me reach out to those I have been specifically assigned to watch over. I try to pray and study the scriptures daily. I want to become all that Heavenly Father wants me to become. I am truly grateful for the law of repentance and of the confidence the Lord has given to take any personal challenges to Him for His guidance. I have worked with the youth of the Church for many years. It is very fulfilling to provide direction and support to those who are in their formative years. I have also served in many leadership positions where I have been blessed to provide counsel to individuals or families in various situations. This has been very rewarding as well. I look forward to continuing this service throughout my life.
