Hi I'm Julee

Born and raised in Utah, mother of 3 great children, grandmother of 7 fabulous grandkids. Nurse by profession. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised a Mormon, both myself and my husband come from Mormon pioneer stock. Wonderful ancestors that sacrificed all to come to America and join other church members. I have benefited greatly from their willingness to do all that is required to be instruments in the hands of the Lord. I enjoy working on my genealogy, serving in our church at what ever I am asked to do, being a grandma, playing games of all kinds, and occasionally golf with my husband. I worked as a nurse until 10 years ago and sometimes I really miss it! My husband recently retired from a job that required a lot of travel and we are looking forward to serving a mission together.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony came because I read the scriptures, prayed & lived the gospel. Many trials have brought me even closer to God! I know he lives! I know he loves me and ALL of His children on the earth. We are here to be tested, tried and learn how to be more like Christ. He lives, and because of His willingness to follow the plan and come on earth to receive a body, suffer for all of our sins, we can return and live with Him. Temple service reminds me of the MOST important things I must accomplish while on this earth. I need to repent daily in order to become the best I can be. His grace will make up the difference. Christ is my exemplar and I pray I can become (in some small way) more like Him!

How I live my faith

I know that reading the scriptures and morning and night prayer is the only way to have hope and joy in the world today. I am lucky to have the opportunity teach from the scriptures in my church and because of extra study, I am optimistic that no matter what happens in the world, we will be OK. God lives, He loves all of us. We will have tribulation, and opportunities to help each other every day. I believe he will direct us in all of our doings. Lately I have been saying a motto that our leaders remind us to do. "Get down on your knees, then get up and do good".
