Hi I'm Meghan

I am a busy stay at home mom of 4 and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints. I joined the church 10 years ago when I was 19 years old. Previously I had been Catholic. I was not necessarily looking for religion when my friend introduced me to the church, but I am eternally grateful that she did. I can attribute so many good things in my life to having made this decision. I am married to a wonderful man and have 4 beautiful children. I really enjoy photography and spending time doing fun things with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

For me, I am a Mormon because once I heard what the missionaries had to teach, and once I had prayed about what I had heard, I could not deny it. It was like someone had lit a fire inside me. I loved what I heard about eternal families, the love that our Heavenly Father has for us, and about the Great Plan of Happiness!! Everything I learned brought me joy. It changed the way I viewed things and gave me a much more positive outlook on the world and my own personal life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a day to day basis. I feel like it is the little things that I do that show people who I am. I am honest. I try to be kind to others. I teach my children everyday about prayer and try to incorporate gospel principals in their lives. I try to show them examples of blessings that we receive. I also strive to be an example to those around me of how much happiness the gospel brings to my life. I serve in different capacities in our church and try to be joyful about each of them and do the best that I can. Serving others brings me great happiness and helps me to feel love for others.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

No. The Church does not take a political stance. It does encourage it's members to prayerfully consider who they feel best aligns with their beliefs and cast their vote accordingly. Show more Show less
