Hi I'm Darius

I'm South African. I love the Saviour, Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the middle child of 3 with an older brother and younger sister. I've lived in South Africa all my life and love it here. I like spending time with good friends, reading good books, working with my hands and enjoying the good that is in the world. I recently returned home from a "Mormon Mission" in the Durban Mission. I plan on furthering my education now and moving forward with life and what it has to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members of the church, so I was born into the Mormon faith. Having said that, it was still entirely up to me to decide whether I would follow this faith or not. I've come to know that the Church and message we share is true, not all at once, but by doing my best to live principles and experiment on things that help to build faith and testimony in Jesus Christ. This knowledge has come gradually for me but I know more and more each day, that Heavenly Father wants me right here in this Church. The Church that bears His Son's Holy Name. Ultimately it has come down to me following the promise in Moroni 10 of the Book of Mormon. Read it, pray about it and you will receive an answer. It is true, and that's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served a two year full-time mission for the church in the South Africa Durban mission. What an experience it was to give those 24 months to the Lord in sharing His message with my brothers and sisters in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Free State and Lesotho. Currently I am responsible for the missionary efforts in one of the units of the Church in Centurion, South Africa.
