Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a wife, a mother and a Mormon.

About Me

I love being active and outdoors. I'm crazy about new crafts and projects and have many of them on my "to-do" list. I'm in love with my husband, Jake and our two sons Cooper and Jack and especially our new baby girl, Adele. We cherish every minute we have together as my husband works a full-time job and runs his own business and I work at the local hospital in the ER. I have a degree in Health Science and enjoy playing volleyball and having a girls night every once in a while!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but continue to live it because it just makes perfect sense to me. I am very blessed and credit everything I have to the Lord. The gospel is my foundation, the ultimate source of my happiness and joy and I find it easy to live and love it.

How I live my faith

This faith is founded on families. I live it by trying to be a loving and nurturing mother and wife. I love to serve others through friendship and kindness.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Rachel
I like to think of a stake like a school district. Depending on where you live determines which school or ward you are in. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Rachel
The hymn "I Believe in Christ" says it all: http://library.lds.org/nxt/gateway.dll/Curriculum/music.htm/hymns.htm/prayer%20and%20supplication.htm/134%20i%20believe%20in%20christ.htm#JD_Hymns.134 He is God's son. He lived his life in service and teaching. He atoned for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and later died on the cross as a final sacrifice for our opportunity to have eternal life and live again in the presence of our Father in Heaven if we partake in that atonement and follow His teachings while here in our mortal existence.
