Hi I'm Alicia

I grew up in California and transplanted to Florida. I'm married, in school, have several businesses. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to crochet, read, and sing. I am a wife and mother. I have been married for about 8 years. I am in college getting my BA degree in psychology. I love helping people. I love sharing the truth of the Gospel with everyone. I served a mission in Nevada. I am a raw-vegan chef and I love my food. I am happy and excited to read my favorite book...the scriptures every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father and an amazing Savior and Redeemer. I love my Savior and I am so grateful I have a personal relationship with Him. I am grateful for Joseph Smith and the progressive work and service he performed and accomplished in restoring the Gospel to the earth again. I am grateful for his sacrifice for us all. I love having the gift of the Holy Ghost. I am comforted, blessed, strengthened, protected, corrected and taught by the Holy Ghost. I am so blessed to be a member of this church. I know this is the true church of our Heavenly Father. I know we have a prophet living today and guides, directs and teaches us under the direction of Heavenly Father. I know that the church is established as it was in ancient times. The scriptures are amazing and I love my Book of Mormon. I know the testimony Joseph Smith shared with all at the beginning of the Book of Mormon. It says "...the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on the earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book" is a true statement. I know this is true! I am so very thankful for temples and being a family sealed together forever. Having a promise like that makes life more meaningful. I am grateful I know the answers to...where do I come from?, who am I?, and where am I going?. This knowledge and sacred wisdom is divine.

How I live my faith

I have taught the youth of the church for several years and been a teacher of sorts to all ages. I have taught singing hymns and songs to giving in depth talks. I have learned so much from the people I "teach" and sometimes I feel I am being taught. I have been in leadership positions and loved it. I am excited to see the changes for good in a community.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

I have family that are not members of the church and did not even go to church. I want them to have the same opportunities that I have by being together for all eternity. I do not want empty seats in Heaven when we are all there. We are all connected. Show more Show less
