Hi I'm Rick

I love to draw, cook and learn all kinds of new things and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father. I am a graphic designer and I love to use the talents in art that God has given me! I love to learn and to visit places and talk to people, everyone is a potential new friend! Cooking a great meal, ironing a few dozen shirts and even mowing the lawn are for me a way to relax and relieve stress! I love different cultures & languages, especially Spanish, it's a way for me to enjoy interacting with all kinds of different people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the principles taught and that there are promises and great blessings by learning more about this life and the best way to live it! I have seen a lifetime of blessings from being taught by great parents who instilled in me the knowledge of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! Every day I am converted a new to the reality of a living, loving Heavenly Father and of the love He has for me by sending his Son to be our Redeemer. It's just that simple, and my testimony is my life and the way I try and live it! I am eternally grateful for being a follower of Jesus Christ and helping others to know and experience what I know and have felt! The scriptures are a strength to me as well as a living prophet and apostles who guide and teach us what Christ would himself teach if he were here today! I love the gospel, as it says in 2 Nephi 5:27 this is the way to live 'after the manner of happiness'!

How I live my faith

Everyone in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints can play a part in building the kingdom of God here on this earth. I love to see people serving and growing in responsibility and stewardship. Nothing brings more joy than to follow the Savior's example in learning to love those whom you serve and becoming aware that we all need each other in the world today! Every person can be blessed if they will heed the still small voice and act upon those promptings! It fulfills your needs to forget yourself in the service of others! I am grateful for being able to exercise the priesthood for the benefit of others, it helps me to strive to be worthy all the time so if I am needed to help, I can be there, especially when I have been so blessed in my own life by members of the church who remember me and my family in our time of need.
