Hi I'm Meredith

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a wife, a mother, and a grad student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of three little boys. I am also working on my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with the hope of helping others experience personal growth, joy, and peace. As for hobbies - I love sports, music, and playing with the kiddos.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon faith but it wasn't until my late teen and early adult years that I truly desired to obtain a confirmation for myself concerning the reality of God, Jesus Christ, and the purpose of life. As I studied and searched, I discovered a peace of heart and mind that I could not find anywhere else. I came to understand that I am a child of God and that he loves me. I also realized that positive personal change was possible as I based my life on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Knowing and feeling this truth created a desire in my heart to do my best to dedicate my life to the Lord and his work. Now that I have a family of my own, the Gospel has helped me remain grounded and hopeful as our family experiences the various trials that are inevitable throughout life. I love that the Gospel gives us a reason to have joy even during difficult circumstances.

How I live my faith

I work with the primary children ages 18 months to 11 years. Together with a group of 3 other women, I help plan Sunday lessons and activities geared toward helping the children develop a personal testimony of and love for Jesus Christ. Volunteering my time in this way has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

We believe that God intended for our families to be together forever. Death does not end the family relationship. While our wealth and worldly possessions do not last forever, our relationships can last forever. Our greatest happiness can come from our relationships with our family. Show more Show less
