Hi I'm Natalie

I grew up in France & Canada. I love to travel. I'd like to own a Bed & Breakfast someday. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a first generation Canadian, my mom is Swiss and my dad Maltese. I am an only child and a lefty. I speak both English and French. I have a university degree in Translation and a college diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, and Leisure. I have been married for about 4 years. I work full time as a Recruiting Administrator for the Canadian division of a large accounting firm. I love dancing, genealogy, going to the farmer's market on Saturday mornings, good food, and watching well-written sitcoms like Parks & Recreation and Modern Family. My favourite book is Life of Pi by Yann Martel. My favourite movie is La vita e bella (Life is Beautiful).

Why I am a Mormon

I got baptized into this church when I was 8 years old because I followed my parents' footsteps and was taught from a very young age that getting baptized was the right thing to do, that it would please God and show Him my commitment to do good. To this day, I still keep my commitments I made at baptism because I truly believe this is the will of my wise and loving Heavenly Father, who is all-knowing. I also remain faithful to many of the teachings because I see and appreciate their benefits. The best example of this is following the principle of charity -as I have given my time and energy to the benefit of others around me, I have been blessed with feelings of joy and love, and sometimes with assistance returned to me.

How I live my faith

In my congregation I participate as a Family History Consultant -I assist others in researching their family history. One of the main ways I do this is by teaching an introductory course on genealogy.
