Hi I'm Tim

I am a fine artist, a recording engineer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from California but now live in Florida. I have a wonderful wife and two beautiful kids. I enjoy supporting them as an artist, painting murals and oil paintings. I also went to school for music and recording, which I love doing as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon home, in fact I come from many generations of members of the church. I was dependent upon my parents for my conviction in the gospel, but came to a point in my life where I had to find out for myself if it was true or if my testimony was based solely on what I had been taught. When the need was great enough, I went to God in prayer. I searched, studied and weighed the different aspects of faith. It was not just through my own learning, but through the responses that I received from God that I determined the truth of his gospel, and the restoration of Christ's church here on earth. I am so glad that I chose to find that knowledge because of the happiness and stability that it gives to my life.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church as a teacher and technology specialist. I also help to organize service projects and activities. I love talking to people about the gospel, because I know how it can change their lives for good. I have found that if I give my whole will to God, it is easier than only giving part.

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Mormons don't have paid clergy to preserve the purity of the doctrine. A church where the clergy is paid tends to steer its message towards the popular consensus, rather than what God would have us hear. Also, it enables all of us to teach each other the words of the prophets, helping us learn by teaching. Show more Show less
