Hi I'm Ian
I'm a fun loving, computer savvy, band geek kind of guy...And I'm a Mormon.
My name is Ian and I served in the Montana Billings Mission up until a few months ago. I am back home serving in my Orange County ward. I have two older brothers, two wonderful parents, and the sweetest dog anyone can ask for. I love music. In fact, before I came out on my mission, I am a communications major in college. I can sing, play the piano, a closet accordion player, and have been playing the saxophone for 10 years.
Even though I was raised in the church by my mom, I had to gain my own testimony on whether the church was true or not. I had the definite option of going the other way of not believing anything, but I asked God what he thought I should do. I prayed to know if this church was the right one or not. As a response to my prayer, I felt this wonderful feeling in my entire being. God can provide us with those wonderful answers that we are searching for. Who better to ask a question to than the person who knows all the answers, right?
I live my faith in the way that I act. Because I am a representative of Jesus Christ, I try to emulate everything that he would do if he were in my shoes. If you had to stick a slogan onto Jesus Christ, I think it would be "Thy faith hath made thee whole." I think that if we live by faith, that no matter our situation, we can be made whole.
