Hi I'm Annette

About Me

I am a truth seeker and very patriotic. I love the scriptures. I believe that true conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ comes through loving and serving our fellow man. In other words I'm striving to follow the example of Jesus Christ. Daily prayer and scripture study helps me to remember who I am. I am a daughter of God. I know God loves me and He loves all mankind on the earth. We are all His children.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith and believe in Jesus Christ is everything to me. It gives me peace of mind and a sense of purpose in my life that I have not been able to find anywhere else. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind. He lives, He loves us and He hears our prayers. He has answered many of mine. I have prayed to know of Him. I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed to know if it is another Testimony of Jesus Christ and a companion to the Bible. The answer to my prayers are yes, the Book of Mormon is the word of God, a companion to the Bible and Jesus is the Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind. I am a child of God. You reading this are a child of God too. He loves you. Through prayer you can know these things and their truthfulness for yourself. I hope you will.

Personal Stories

How has the Book of Mormon helped you understand the purpose of life?

The Book of Mormon helps me understand the purpose of life through it's testimony of Jesus Christ. He lived, died and was resurrected that we too may be resurrected and reunited with God. I believe that if I live the principles as taught by Jesus Christ in 3 Nephi in the Book of Mormon, I too can have salvation through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and each time I read it, it not only reinforces the teachings of Jesus Christ for me, and how he would have us live, it stirs a deep desire to keep the commandments and strive to live as Christ taught.

Please share your feelings/testimony of the Restoration of the Gospel.

I have studied and prayed concerning Joseph Smith's first vision and about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I bear as my personal witness, "Yes, Joseph Smith did see God the Eternal Father and his son Jesus Christ. They spoke to him and called him by name. The Book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ and is a companion to the Bible. Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind yesterday, today and forever. The Church of Jesus Christ has been restored upon the earth through priesthood authority by his servant and prophet of this dispensation Joseph Smith. The Atonement is real and concrete, not abstract as many would have us think. Faith and a desire to know are necessary parts of gaining a testimony. I hold these truths to be self-evident for me. I can say that I know them for myself independent of anyone or anything. God lives, He loves us with a perfect love. We wishes to bless us. I am thankful to be a part of this great work."

How I live my faith

Daily prayer and scripture study are the staples of my day. I consider them essential to the success of each day. Prayer helps me to find strength and offers guidance during difficult days and situations. Scripture study gives me answers to life's questions. I hope to honor my Father in Heaven by serving his children here upon the earth.
