Hi I'm Annette

I grew up in the Midwest, I love working with at risk youth. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a truth seeker and very patriotic. I love the scriptures. I believe that true conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ comes through loving and serving our fellow man. In other words I'm striving to follow the example of Jesus Christ. Daily prayer and scripture study helps me to remember who I am. I am a daughter of God. I know God loves me and He loves all mankind on the earth. We are all His children.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith and believe in Jesus Christ is everything to me. It gives me peace of mind and a sense of purpose in my life that I have not been able to find anywhere else. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind. He lives, He loves us and He hears our prayers. He has answered many of mine. I have prayed to know of Him. I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed to know if it is another Testimony of Jesus Christ and a companion to the Bible. The answer to my prayers are yes, the Book of Mormon is the word of God, a companion to the Bible and Jesus is the Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind. I am a child of God. You reading this are a child of God too. He loves you. Through prayer you can know these things and their truthfulness for yourself. I hope you will.

How I live my faith

Daily prayer and scripture study are the staples of my day. I consider them essential to the success of each day. Prayer helps me to find strength and offers guidance during difficult days and situations. Scripture study gives me answers to life's questions. I hope to honor my Father in Heaven by serving his children here upon the earth.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

The Lord declared, “This is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man”. Immortality is to live forever as a resurrected being. Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, everyone will be resurrected. Eternal life means to inherit a place in God's kingdom, where we will live in His presence and continue as families. Like immortality, this is made possible through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. However, it requires our “obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel” Show more Show less
