Hi I'm Thayne

I'm a New or Used Car salesman, I'm a gamer, I'm a brother, I'm a talker, I'm a health nut, I'm a brother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a person who has lived in a small town his whole life. I love the people that I am around and the people involved in my life. I have brothers and sisters both in my family and in my friendships. I sell cars both used and new. It is exciting. I go to school and plan to be a dentist. Some ask why I chose to sell cars I answer "Because my girlfriend said that it would be a great job and I should take it to impress her dad." Thus here we are. As of late I have learned to love my family more than I used to. Not a day goes by I don't tell them "I Love you." It may seem simple but it means a lot to people to be told they are loved. I try to think what if this is the last time I see them in this life. It motivates me anyways. I love going to the temple and try going in my area about once a month. So far still good. I also love working out even though I complain throughout the whole thing. But it makes me feel better. I love reading sci-fi, scriptures, and lawyer books.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because that is what brings me happiness. My faith in Christ is strengthen ever so much to be a part of His Church. I've read the book of Mormon several times throughout my life. Each and every time I do I feel a stronger and more resounding influence of the spirit with me. I can feel God's love and care in my life as I continue to come to church and be a part of this community. I'm a Mormon from the start but stay because of the spirit. Through my life I have chosen to always be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is mainly my daily life. As I sell cars I keep things as honest as I can. Does it mean I get more sales, no, but I am out there to work hard and try to get people the right vehicle. I live my faith by talking to others that may not be talked to at meetings. I shake peoples hands as often as occasions permit. I sing with choirs, I share my substance with friends in need. If someone calls me and asks for help it is hard to say no. I live my faith by praying daily. I speak with God and Jesus Christ through my prayers in the hopes that my family and friends will be sage and protected. I make dinner for my girlfriend who is in dental hygiene school. I share my comments in Sunday school. I attend church. I try to do what is asked of me by leaders in all fields. I am trying to be like Jesus in all that I do and say.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Thayne
One way for me to increase my faith in Christ is daily reading of the scriptures. I love reading them and sharing what I've learned with others. Those are some of the ways I've been able to increase my faith in Jesus Christ. Another Big way that my faith has increased is through prayer. I love to pray. When I have to go a few days without being able to pray out loud my heart sorrows and I long for the opportunity to be able to cry to the heavens. But Through my tears and through my sorrows I've come to rely on prayer and scripture reading as my ultimate tools to gain a stronger knowledge that Jesus is The Christ. Show more Show less

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

Thayne
My main answer to this question is the amount of preparation. But that could be said about anything. For me the temple is an even more sacred experience. Going to church is good as well but the temple is a bigger step. My first time going through the main temple service was a few years ago. I loved that time. My parents were there. My bishop surprised me by showing up as well. A few missionaries were there too. The things I learned there helped me understand a lot about life in general. Now every time I go to the temple my heart turns to the promises I made and how I'm going to relive a better life. Church is where I actually go through with it all. My family is how I do it. I may not be the best at explaining my answers but I know by the power of the holy ghost that the temple is a sacred place even more than the church. Both are good though. Show more Show less
