Hi I'm Adam Bigelow

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in Utah. My family is also Mormon, and brought me up the same.

About Me

I love to be outside. I have gained a passion for the great outdoors. Ever since I could crawl, I've been brought up in the mountains. I love archery a lot, but anything to do with the mountains, I'm there. I love sports and just to be active and enjoy life. I am 21 years old right now, and I am moving on to my second year of college. I am studying to become a CRNA, also known as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I am single, and eventually plan on getting married and raising a family.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised as a Mormon, there came a point where I had a greater desire to find out if the things I had been taught my whole life were true. I had no problem accepting them as truth, but I hadn't felt it in my heart. The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, is one of the thousand key elements to my own personal testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel. I have seen numerous blessings come into my life as I've strived to live the teachings of our Savior. I've experienced more true joy within these teachings than I have found anywhere else. I have seen the affect that the Book of Mormon plays on a person's life first hand. People have given up lifes habits by simply reading a book and because it feels right to them. The Church is true. I have an assurance or a witness from the Holy Ghost and a hope that it is true. I may not understand everything, but I do understand that this is the Church of Jesus Christ, because of the blessings which have come into my life and the blessings that I have seen come into the lives of others.

How I live my faith

Currently, I just lived my faith by serving as a full time missionary for the church in the state of North Carolina for two years. I live my faith by serving God's children and striving to live the gospel of Jesus Christ and to become more like Him.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Adam Bigelow
Faith in Christ means that you are striving to live in accordance with His teachings. It is more than a simple belief. When you strive to live like the Savior wants you to, you will notice that greater joy will come into your life, which you can then offer to everyone around you. You will learn such skills as patience, forgiveness, love, and joy, for that is what the Savior taught us. Show more Show less

What is the priesthood?

Adam Bigelow
The Priesthood is the authority of God that He entrusts to man, but only those whom He chooses, here on Earth for the blessing of His children, by allowing ordinances, things like baptism, to be done correctly so all of God's children can return home. Show more Show less
