Hi I'm Uwe

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My conversion took a long time. It was important for me to check out all available resources before I decide that converting to Mormonism is the right way to go. I am a single and looking for the right one on my side to share all the things off the life.

Why I am a Mormon

I’ve never been concerned with proving God exists. God for me is something I experience in a way that isn’t particularly rational--it’s sub-rational, or extra-rational. It’s more emotional and sensory than it is logical. I believe the stories about Jesus--including the bits about his conception and his resurrection--despite my wariness of the miraculous. I believe the stories because they spoke to me as no other stories have. What seems absurd on an intellectual level makes good sense far deeper in my core. As an adult a series of events led me to find the LDS church. I have a testimony of this and it has changed my entire life. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of us. Life changes when you know that you have a purpose, that God has a plan for you.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church. My actual calling is "Ward Missionary". I love teaching, meeting people, try to give them a example how great our life can be and spread the good news of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I strive to do the things that God has asked us to do everyday such as read the scriptures, pray with all your heart, serve others, maintain a personal journal etc.

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

A prophet is a man called by God to be His representative on earth.  Show more Show less
