Hi I'm Todd!

I grew up in Utah. I served a mission for the church in South Korea. I'm a math teacher, I'm happy, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a father of 4 wonderful children. My wife is the love of my life and we have been married for over 8 years. I graduated from a local University with a degree in mathematics education and now teach high school. I love watching, playing and coaching sports - Go Jazz!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it exemplifies everything that I want in a religion. It teaches me to be better. It helps me find peace and happiness. It points me to Christ in every aspect of my life. It shows me how to recognize the hand of the Lord in everything around me. I have seen the change in people as they learn about, grow closer to, and gain a testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ. "We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." (2nd Nephi 25:26) I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the scriptures. I know that our Loving Heavenly Father has reached out to us again and restored the true and everlasting Gospel through a modern day prophet, even the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the Church is led and directed today by a living prophet, even President Thomas S. Monson. I know that Jesus is my Savior and it is only through Him that I can find true forgiveness, peace, and happiness.

How I live my faith

I truly believe that my happiest moments in life come when I am in the service of others. I have served in many areas of the church... I have served with the little kids, ranging from 18 months to 18 years old. I have worked with others my own age, and others my parents age. I have served as a full-time missionary. I live my faith by serving others and by allowing others to serve me. It would be hard for any of us to serve others if others weren't open to being served themselves. I pray for guidance and direction in my home, my job, my callings in the Church, and every other aspect of my life. "I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever." (Alma 26:12)
