Hi I'm Breanna

I'm a wife, mother, nursing student, pianist, runner, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the most wonderful husband on earth for three years now, and we have a beautiful little girl. I am going to nursing school to become an RN with one more year to go--yay! I also serve the younger children at church every Sunday by teaching about Jesus Christ and His church through the scriptures. I love to exercise and spend time outside gardening or watering the flowers with my daughter. Playing hide-and-seek, having tickle wars, and dancing with my family is super fun too!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because without the Gospel my life would have no purpose or direction. I was raised a Mormon, and I've had the benefit of having parents that loved and taught me about our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ from birth. However, it wasn't until my teens that I began to understand God's love for his children by attending early-morning seminary classes and studying the scriptures every day before school. I learned through the scriptures that Jesus Christ loves us so much that he atoned for our sins. I don't fully understand how someone so pure and innocent could take on the sins of so many people, but I know he did it for me. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon, and the wonderful power that is found through reading and pondering it. My husband, daughter, and I love to read a few verses from it together each night. I love watching my daughter as she repeats the words back to us as we read, and when we finish she doesn't want to put it down. Even at such a young age she recognizes the truthfulness and power coming from the ancient prophets.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the children at church. I get so intimidated when I have to stand up and teach in front of groups of people, but I have felt the Holy Spirit testifying to me as I teach that what I'm saying is true. I love singing simple songs with the children and relearning the small and simple truths of the Gospel. I also live my faith among my peers as I attend school. Friends of mine often question me about my religion and why I don't say bad words or dress immodestly. I love it when they ask questions because it gives me an opportunity to share a little about what I believe is true with them.
